West Somerset Coast Path: Complete
The West Somerset Coast path runs from Minehead, which is the start of the South West Coast Path, the pre eminent national trail in England, to the hamlet of Steart at the estuary of the River Parrett.

At approximately 25 miles in length (40km) this magnificent stretch of coastline also links to the River Parrett Trail, the Coleridge Way and the Quantock Greenway. With  splendid views of the Quantock Hills , Exmoor  and the Severn estuary , the South Wales coast to the north east and north respectively  this is a truly pleasant and none too demanding coastal walk which can easily be accomplished over a weekend.

Waymarked with the distinctive ammonite symbol, in recognition of the many Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) along the way, it is an easy route to follow and offers pleasing diversions or circular walks at the small towns and villages en route.
