This is a rural route across the southwest peninsula's narrowest point following the river Yarty.

Beginning in Seaton, Devon, and completing in Watchet, Somerset, for a distance of 50 miles this unwaymarked trail follows a northern line utilising  farmland, woodland tracks and quiet country lanes taking you through Taunton, the Blackdown Hills and between the Quantock and Brendon Hills.

Connections can be made to the South West Coast Path, Macmillan Way , West Somerset Coast Path and the Coleridge Way.
